Possibility Dutch due too Grandad who is wearing Clogs ….!
Good point, but I’ve found that the Dutch did not make anywhere near as man genre stereoviews as the British. It has a early British genre stereoview feel to it for me. Maybe the clogs were a way of advertising the series to the Dutch. The stereoview was published under a “Gems of German Life” series name, but I think this is only because it was pirated from an earlier series.
