Photographs: American History Eastern State Penitentiary - Al Capone's Cell - Legendary gangster Al Capone's "Park Avenue" cell at Eastern State Penitentiary in Philadelphia, where he did an eight-month stretch for carrying a concealed weapon. This happened shortly after the famous St. Valentine's Day Massacre in Chicago, and Capone claimed the ghost of victim Jimmy Clark haunted him in this cell.
